ABOUT

ABOUT

Raincliffe Manor is a uniquely situated property on the outskirts of Scarborough.  The feeling of a countryside residence is magnificent and you will feel completely at home surrounded by a mix of modern and period  features, together with extensive mature woodland and  landscaped gardens which provide you with privacy and seclusion .

The Manor  stands on an elevated position looking out towards the sea and coast ,

a short drive away from the hustle and bustle of a traditional seaside town, and the rear of the manor looks onto the  formal gardens and the ancient  Raincliffe Woods beyond.

The landscaped gardens are mature and flanked by evergreens, rhododendrons and azaleas which put on a spectacular display when in season, and  you may be lucky enough to spot the deer visiting throughout the year. A wildlife pond  sits not far away and strolls through the garden and woodland are a must to do!

GUEST REVIEWS

The house is wonderful and the gardens are unbelievably beautiful. We wondered at the beginning how we would manage to use all of the rooms, but we found ourselves making the most of all of them. The hosts were very helpful and Scarborough played it's part by providing a week of ideal weather. The location is great. It feels quite remote, but is actually very handy for the town and beaches.“”
